Bat surveys are often one of those things that only come onto a client’s radar once a project is already underway but in reality, they can be a critical part of the planning process from the very start.

Following the confirmation of upgrades to Wastewater Treatment Works (WwTWs) in nutrient-sensitive catchment areas (under the Water Industry Act 1991), alongside additional improvements as part of the wider PR24 Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP), there will be notable improvements to water quality in the River Camel.

A new permitted development right is being introduced to support the rollout of the UK’s Deposit Return Scheme and it’s one for retail and planning teams to keep on the radar.

We are pleased to have supported a local client in securing Permission in Principle (PIP) for a residential development of up to nine new dwellings in a rural Cornish village.

The appeal was made under Section 78 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 against Cornwall Council’s refusal to grant planning permission for a variation of condition on a previously approved scheme for the demolition of an existing bungalow and construction of two residential dwellings.

We were pleased to support ModuleCo in securing planning approval for a much-needed new maternity theatre at Tameside General Hospital

The approved development will deliver 15 new homes, with over 50% provided as affordable housing, helping to address the significant local need for quality, accessible homes.

We are delighted to have secured planning permission for the sensitive adaptation and extension of a historic mill in Cornwall, working in close collaboration with Simon Kaufman Architects.
