Replacement Dwelling, Parish of Veryan

We are delighted to have secured planning permission for a replacement dwelling and garage/workshop in the Parish of Veryan.

The proposal replaces a former agricultural barn—previously granted residential consent under Class Q—with a thoughtfully designed new home that better meets the needs of the site and its future occupants. The scheme also includes associated works, such as the demolition of an adjacent barn, to create a more coherent and functional layout.

Careful attention was given to scale, materials and siting to ensure the new dwelling sits comfortably within its rural setting, while delivering a high-quality, modern home that improves upon what could have been achieved under the original Class Q consent.

This approval demonstrates how a well-considered replacement dwelling can offer meaningful design and amenity benefits while remaining sensitive to local character and landscape context.
