Angela has over 24 years experience of development control planning in the public and voluntary sector. She works as an integral part of the design team and manages the project up to planning approval. She has a detailed knowledge of planning policy matters, appeals, the development control process, regeneration and design and their application in the context of sustainable development. Her experience includes working for former Restormel Borough Council as a Senior Planning Officer. Prior to this she worked for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and Planning Aid for London. She specialises in major housing development and public consultation techniques.
Sue has over 25 years’ experience of working within the Town and Country Planning arena. She has extensive knowledge and an excellent understanding of the Development Management process, planning policy, appeals and design issues. Her experience includes working as a Head of Planning Services for a former Cornish District Local Authority, leading the Unit to the top of the national league table for performance as the fastest growing local authority within the UK. Prior to Situ8 she had been employed by Cornwall Council as the Development Manager for the West Service Delivery. She is therefore able to provide advice and guidance on a wide range of planning and development management themes and topics.
Lisa has gained wide ranging experience in Development Control matters in the 13 years prior to Situ8, having worked for the Environment Agency, Restormel Borough Council and Caradon District Council. She has detailed knowledge of all issues relating to sustainable development, and is available to provide advice on planning policy, and urban, rural and coastal planning. Moving from New Zealand in 1998, she lived in London for two years and has been living in Cornwall since 2000.
Jo has over 15 years of planning expertise including working in development management at Caradon and East Devon District Councils. Most recently neighbourhood planning: as the regional Planning Advisor for Planning Aid England. Working alongside neighbourhood planning groups since 2011 and in this role, she has supported nineteen neighbourhoods towards the goal of producing a draft neighbourhood plan; many of which have proceeded to Examination and public referendum. Joanna’s experience includes facilitating workshops and brainstorming sessions. She has delivered presentations on neighbourhood planning, engaging a wide variety of participants and organisations: including Parish/Town Councils and the Planning Advisory Service.
Jim Holt FHIE
Highways & Transportation Consultant
Jim is our Transport Planning and Highways Consultant. A Fellow of the Institute of Highway Engineers and over 20 years of experience working in both the public and private sectors. Most recently Jim was employed as a Principal Highway Officer for Cornwall Council and considered the highway safety and impact from developments of up to 1500 dwellings. He holds excellent relations with highways and planning officers and has an extensive in depth knowledge of the Council’s Town Transport Strategies and the likely associated transport contributions.
Debbie has 18 years as a Library Service Manager and Administrator working for Cornwall Council. During her time working for the Council, Debbie was the ‘Voice of Cornwall’. This represented the Councils commitment to clear local government.
She also has experience in the private sector managing the Customer Care and Administration in a large retail store. Her role is to run an efficient and professional office.
Francesca has joined our team as Situ8’s Marketing Coordinator. Overall she has 6 years of experience working in Marketing, Administration and PR roles.
She has detailed knowledge of marketing analytics, social media management, website development and graphic design, Her background includes work as a freelance marketing specialist and as a further education lecturer at Cornwall College.
